Winter Color - Lavender

Seattle, still recovering from a BIG snow storm, offers beauty in winter. I took a long run this morning, and was captivated by this image. In my front garden, this lovely little flower brightens the landscape with a touch of color. Delicate and tough, lavender inspires me with its perseverance.

This past week, I have been working on creating easy recipes for home-made gifts for the holidays. After extensive researching and testing, I have come up with a top ten list. They are easy, fast, inexpensive ideas for UNFORGETTABLE holiday gifts. I will post more tomorrow.
